PoE Network Switches and Network Switches
PoE switches are network switches or hubs that not only transmit network data, but also supply power to connected devices. PoE stands for Power over Ethernet. There are two standards for PoE, i.e. 802.3af (PoE) which provides 15.4 watts of power, and 802.3at (PoE+) which provides 25.5 watts. IP Cameras that are Power over Ethernet enabled can be connected to any of the PoE Network Switches listed below to power the cameras and transmit Ethernet data over a single CAT5e or CAT6 network cable.

CCTV Power Supply
CCTV power supply box, also known as security power distribution unit, allows security camera installers to consolidate the power source of multiple cameras to a central point. Combined with RG59U Siamese cable or video baluns, wiring becomes neater and easier to manage from one source. Instead of having a power adapter for each camera, all the cameras can be run in to one power supply box.

Video Baluns
Baluns are commonly known as UTP Balun or Video Balun Adapters. These simple little balun devices have allowed the CCTV industry to move away from the use of traditional coaxial cable on to more modern wiring such as CAT5 or CAT6 cabling. Network wiring is more cost effective and becoming more prominent as well than coax. Often you will find a property prewired with category 5 or 6 cabling, making the installation of CCTV cameras a breeze by using video baluns to piggy back on to the existing wiring.
Security Camera Microphones
CCTV audio microphones are an easy way to add sound to any surveillance system where the DVR recorder has audio inputs. All of the recorders sold by CCTV Camera World have at least one audio input. We carry three types of microphones. Two are indoor mics: in line surveillance microphone that shares DC power with the camera using a pass-through connection, and a standalone security camera mic that can be used with its own 12V power adapter or share a power supply using a 1 to 2 dc power splitter.
